3 Things You Probably Don't Know About Me

3 Things You Probably Don't Know About Me.

I love getting to know my readers and I want to share some of my life with you as well. My goal with posts like this is for us to feel more like friends than blogger and reader. I want you to be able to spit off random facts about me like you would your sibling or a friend so what are we waiting for?
1. I own my own business. In 2017 I started a handmade goods store called Piney Creek Craft . Though it hasn't grown much over the last 2 years, I am currently taking steps to change that.
2. I am a published author. In 2017, (it was a big year for me), I released my first book. It's a book of short stories called The Joys of Christmas by Abigail Wilson. In addition I am currently working on other books that I hope to share with you soon.
3. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Skittles. I kid you not, I am obsessed with Skittles. They are my favorite candy in the whole world. I would probably pick a box of Skittles over most foods.
I hope that you learned something about me today that gives you a personal connection to me through a mutual interest.

Winter Wonderland

This past weekend the weather decided it was about time that Arkansas had some snow. When it snows there's only one thing to do, go outside and take pictures! What you got there? I'd like some range cubes please. Make sure you get my good side. Oh yeah, there you go. Now, where is my food? Mom and Jacob think this looks like Mater from Cars. My baby is getting special treatment in the form of her own bucket of range cubes. Little Caffie is hunkered down and trying to stay warm. I'm not sure she likes this weather anymore than I do. My boy looks so pretty in the snow. You got that food yet? I'm STARVING. I love trees with snow on them. The world is white And at the end of a long cold day I get some Daisy snuggles. They are the best when it's cold outside. She is forever my baby. Snow is not my favorite because it's cold and it makes chores harder to do, but everything does look prettier.

This recipe is quick and easy.  You will need: 1 cup Coconut Oil 1 cup Cocoa Powder 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Vanilla Melt coconut oil in the microwave. Mix in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla.  Pour into pan and refrigerate for 15 minutes or until hard. Remove from fridge and enjoy! It's that easy!

Thursday's Thoughts- Job

Let's take some time today to observe a man that represents what we should act like as Christians. His name is Job and you can read his full story in the Old Testament but I'll give you a brief overview. The book of Job opens up to a scene from God's court. The sons of God had come to present themselves and among them was Satan. God couldn't help but boast about his number one servant Job. Satan laughed and pointed out that, like all men, Job would only love God as long as his life was good. Does this sound like a challenge to you because it did to God. He promptly gave Satan permission to do whatever he wished to Job as long as he did not harm him. Job was considered rich in those days because he had livestock. In Job 1:13-19, Satan strikes and Job loses everything including all of his animals and children. The only things left in his world were his house and his wife, yet he didn't respond the way most people would. In fact, his response is truly baffling but...
